This Data Protection Notice (“Notice”) sets out the basis which One BioMed Pte. Ltd. (also referred to as; OBM / the Company / we / us /  our) may collect, use, disclose or otherwise process personal data of our collaborators, partners, vendors, and any other individuals with whom we interface with at us through our staff or at our facilities in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”). This Notice applies to personal data in our possession or under our control, including personal data in the possession of organizations which we have engaged to collect, use, disclose or process personal data for our purposes. Your privacy is important to us and we are committed to protecting any personal information that you may provide to us.

Personal Data

As used in this Notice:

Partner means an individual who (a) has contacted us through any means to find out more about our business or our assets, or (b) may have, or has, entered into a contract with us in relation to our business or our assets, and shall include our collaborators, partners, distributors, vendors, and any other individuals with whom we interface with at us through our staff or at our facilities; and

“personal data” shall adopt the same meaning as set out in the PDPA, and means data, whether true or not, about a Partner who can be identified: (a) from that data; or (b) from that data and other information to which we have or are likely to have access.

Collection, Use, and Disclosure Of Personal Data

In general, you can visit this Website without telling us who you are or revealing any information about yourself. Like most websites, OBM may use cookies to ‘remember’ information about your preferences. You can set up your web browser to accept or reject cookies. Our web servers may collect the domain names, not the e-mail addresses, of visitors. In addition, there are portions of this Website where OBM may need to collect personal information from you for a specific purpose, such as to provide you with certain information you request. The information collected from you may include your name, address, telephone, fax number, or email address. You may refuse any request for personal information. This Website is not intended for persons under 13 years of age. OBM does not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from or about children, and OBM does not knowingly market our products or services to children.

Domain name information that OBM collects is not used to personally identify you. It is used to measure viewer statistics, such as the numbers of viewers that visit the Website, average time spent on the Website, pages viewed, etc. OBM uses this information to measure the use of our Website and to improve the content of our Website.

When other information is collected from you, such as your name and e-mail address, OBM will make reasonable efforts to let you know at the time of collection how this information will be used. Usually, the personal information you provide will only be used to respond to an inquiry you make or to process your request. This information may be shared with other OBM partners, but only if necessary, to fulfil your request or for related purposes.

The sending of data, through the electronic forms on this Website or electronic mail messages implies that you consent to the automated processing of the data included in the media indicated, and to OBM including your personal data and your IP address in a file belonging to OBM.

Data shall not be granted to third parties other than to OBM’s partners, distributors, and service providers. Also, you agree that your personal data may form part of files with our OBM’s partners, distributors, and service providers, for the same purpose. You guarantee that the personal data provided to OBM is accurate and complete and you are responsible to inform OBM of any modification to the data.

Except in fields where it is expressly indicated to the contrary, the delivery of information required for personal data shall be voluntary, and refusal to provide this information shall not affect the quality or quantity of services you may request. Non-completion of fields indicated as obligatory or the supplying of incorrect data will make it impossible for OBM to be able to provide you with the services you select, process your request, or send you the information required.

OBM does not share, sell, or lease personal information about you to any third parties for their marketing use. OBM will release information about you if you direct it to do so, if OBM is required by law to do so, or in other legally permissible circumstances.

Withdrawing Your Consent

The consent that you provide for the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data will remain valid until such time it is being withdrawn by you in writing. You may withdraw consent and request us to stop using and/or disclosing your personal data by submitting your request in writing to our Legal Counsel at the contact details provided below.

Upon receipt of your written request to withdraw your consent, we may require reasonable time (depending on the complexity of the request and its impact on our relationship with you) for your request to be processed and for us to notify you of the consequences of us acceding to the same, including any legal consequences which may affect your rights and liabilities to us. In general, we shall seek to process your request within ten (10) business days of receiving it.

​Whilst we respect your decision to withdraw your consent, please note that depending on the nature and scope of your request, we may not be in a position to continue fulfilling some or all of our obligations to you under our partnerships or contracts and we shall, in such circumstances, notify you before completing the processing of your request. Should you decide to cancel your withdrawal of consent, please inform us in writing in the manner described in clause 8 above.

Please note that withdrawing consent does not affect our right to continue to collect, use and disclose personal data where such collection, use and disclose without consent is permitted or required under applicable laws.

Access to And Correction of Personal Data

If you wish to make:

(a) an access request for access to a copy of the personal data which we hold about you or information about the ways in which we use or disclose your personal data, or

(b) a correction request to correct or update any of your personal data which we hold about you

We will respond to your request as soon as reasonably possible. Should we not be able to respond to your request within thirty (30) days after receiving your request, we will, within thirty (30) days from the receipt of your request, inform you in writing of the time by which we will be able to respond to your request. If we are unable to provide you with any personal data or to make a correction requested by you, we shall generally inform you of the reasons why we are unable to do so (except where we are not required to do so under the PDPA).

Protection of Personal Data

To safeguard your personal data from unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or similar risks, we have introduced appropriate administrative, physical and technical measures such as antivirus protection, encryption and the use of firewalls to secure all storage and transmission of personal data by us, and disclosing personal data both internally and to our authorized third party service providers and agents only on a need-to-know basis.

​You should be aware, however, that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While security cannot be guaranteed, we strive to protect the security of your information and are constantly reviewing and enhancing our information security measures.

Effect of Notice and Changes to Notice

This Notice applies in conjunction with any other notices, contractual clauses and consent clauses that apply in relation to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data by us.

We may revise this Notice from time to time without any prior notice. You may determine if any such revision has taken place by referring to the date on which this Notice was last updated. Your continued use of our services constitutes your acknowledgement and acceptance of such changes.
